Ilah was tired: mom was quite upset for something and as a result she had been more strict then even on her training, though she eventually let her go. And even better, she congratulated, telling she now mastered another form. Ilah could feel it, her bending was now stronger than ever. She still would have preferred weaving a daisy chain crown, but she knew mom liked teaching her and she loved making her proud. That was the reason she came back, wasn't it? Ilah stepped outside the tub, wiping herself up with am old rug, then she put her coat on and ran back to the house. Mom had decided to keep practicing alone for a while and she could see her blue flames dashing against the rocks, even from that distance. She was pretty sure she was the strongest bender in the world and she loved watching her... but she was given a task this time: she had to check on Sozin, so she quickly went back, finding him next to the fire. She had piled all the wood logs in the corner of the rooms, but now they were scattered all around the room, and her brother was playing with the. "Sozin! Bad bro!" she complained, taking the log he was trying to eat and then putting him back to his crib.

Sozin didn't seem to like being trapped in there once again, and started trying to climb out once again. "Please, stay there!" begged Ilah, giving him the bison figure Kai gifted him. She was about to tidy up the room when she heard a voice, coming from the other room. Did she imagine it? She hesitated, knowing what her mother would have done if she found out she even got close to that room... but that might have been her only chance to talk to dad. She glanced out of the window, but she couldn't catch any sign of the blue flames from there. She gritted her teeth, she might not have so much time. She left the logs where they were, reaching her mother's room.

Dad was sitting on the bed. Ilah looked around, then she quickly sneaked inside the room, closing the door behind her "hush! Don't yell or she'll hear you!" she whispered. "How do you feel? You get us all worried" she explained "even mom" she added, knowing it was true, even if she wasn't one to admit it.
